Accommodation/Tenancy Assistance
We provide guidance and support with your Accommodation and Tenancy Obligations needs. We offer assessment, individual case planning, one on one assistance, and liaison with service providers. We work with you every step of the way and provide capacity building assistance to support you in achieving your housing goals. Depending on your circumstances and goals, assistance can include:
- Developing housing/tenancy goals
- Locating appropriate or alternative accommodation options
- Assisting with rental application process for applying Department of Communities housing, real estate, or privately listed properties
- Assistance with undertaking tenancy obligations to obtain or maintain appropriate accommodation
- Identifying and implementing strategies to maintain requirements in the tenancy agreement
- Assisting with budgeting and much more.
Assist Personal Activities
ACCS believes that care is a basic human right. Our caregivers and support staff can provide quality assistance and supervision with daily personal activities. We can provide flexible and customised personal care support depending on your needs, goals and outcomes to enable you to live as independently as possible. We can support you with a range of daily activities in your home.

Assist Transport Activities
ACCS Assist Transport services is for people who are unable to use public transportation due to their special needs. People needing assistance moving around can use ACCS travel and transportation services.
Our transportation assistance specialists are highly competent and have all required credentials i.e., valid driver’s licence and police background check etc.
ACCS Assist Transport services includes making and managing travel arrangements for the participant to attend school, TAFE or university, work, appointments, or community events. We provide and ensure a safe and convenient transport experience for your journey making your mobility easier and safer.

Community Nursing
ACCS can provide Community nursing service to support you with complex health needs in your home. This service aims to assist you in restoring or maintaining your health and independence at home and assist you to avoid early admittance to hospital or residential care. We can assist with medication, wound care, hygiene and help with showering or dressing. A registered nurse will assess and consult with you to determine your needs for the type and frequency of nursing and/or personal care services. To ensure you receive appropriate care for your clinical needs, the service will be closely monitored and reviewed by a registered nurse. ACCS can deliver
- Complex Bowel Care
- Enteral (Naso-Gastric Tube – Jejunum or Duodenum) Feeding and Management
- Tracheostomy Management
- Urinary Catheter Management (In-dwelling Urinary Catheter, In-out Catheter, Suprapubic Catheter)
- Ventilator Management
- Subcutaneous Injections
Development Life Skills
ACCS can assist in providing individual life skills development and training to increase your ability to live as autonomously as possible. Life Skills focuses on the abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that enables you to effectively manage the demands and challenges of life. We will work with you and your family or carers to develop everyday life skills to build your independence, control and self-esteem. (Training can be individual or through group activities). Training will focus on building your capacity to manage everyday life, through the development of knowledge, skills and networks of support. Training and development include but not limited to the following:
- Personal hygiene such as showering, toileting and personal careÂ
- Nutrition such as shopping for groceries and planning for and preparing a healthy mealÂ
- Household management such as money skills, household care, laundry and clothes careÂ
Domestic Assistance or Household Tasks
ACCS can assist with domestic chores so you can continue to live comfortably and independently at home. We understand the importance of spending time on a favourite hobby or entertaining family and friends. Our aim is to assist in ways that your home is cared for just the way you like it. We can assist with:
- Managing daily household chores such as washing dishes and wiping benches
- Managing weekly general household cleaning
- Cleaning that is seasonal and home safety checks
- Developing skills for personal goals to learn household management skills
- Assisting within the home for participants with limited mobility
- Organising access to personal items
- Preparing a weekly shopping list and paying bills
- Delivering linen at a minimum cost
Participate Community, Social and Recreational Activities
ACCS can help you stay connected or be more engaged in community, social and recreational activities. We are flexible in tailoring support to meet your needs, goals and help enhance your social life and wellbeing. Participation in a whole range of activities include assistance or supervision in:
- Training and education
- Social activities
- Recreation and sports
- Community activities
- Assisted Travel
- Additional services such as in-home care, accommodation, therapy and support coordination
- Transition to Employment / Preparation for Employment
Group Centre Activities
Life is more enjoyable together therefore it is vital for individuals to bond/network and develop/maintain social connections. ACCS provides a comprehensive environment and the chance for friendship, learning, development and in particular, to have fun. We encourage participants to engage independently in social activities and/or take part in group-based activities.
The Group centre activities help participants to engage in social, sporting and group-based activities e.g., going to beaches, zoo, watching movies, attending arts and crafts exhibitions, outdoor group activities like exploring Perth’s beautiful outdoors. ACCS provide inclusive support for group activities so participants can enjoy their time while out and about with others and learn new skills and/or make social connections.
